Weekend Overview
Girls Day Out will be held August 10-12, 2007 at Windsor Park in Bala, Muskoka, Ontario.
This three-day weekend consists of two and a half days of wakeboarding clinics and a one-day
wakeboarding competition. Girls Day Out is a great opportunity to ride behind Mastercraft X-Series tournament
wakeboard boats, try out the latest gear from O’Brien, Straight Line and JetPilot and meet other girls who wakeboard.
Come out to one of our wakeboarding clinic sessions being held all day Friday and Saturday and Sunday morning.
We will be running three boats with a maximum of 6 girls per boat. This means less girls in each boat and more riding time!
Each clinic gives every single girl 2, 20-minute lessons taught by some of Canada’s top female wakeboarders.
On Sunday, come back and showcase your newly acquired wakeboard skills in the Girls Day Out Tournament!
Girls of all ability levels come out to compete in three different skill divisions. Girls from past events
claim the tournament to be the highlight of the weekend so come out, show off your talent (but remember,
it’s all for fun!) and have the chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors.
Event Schedule
August 10 & 11: 2 Days of Clinics and Evening Freeride Sessions
- Each day is a full day of clinics – choose from the morning session, running from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm or the afternoon session, running from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm
- Each clinic consists of 2, 20 minute sessions for each girl in the boat. All clinics are taught by pro female coaches. Learn more
- Enjoy a catered BBQ lunch courtesy of Billabong. Learn more
- Let an O’Brien rep give you the tips and advice on choosing the prefect board and binding setup to suit your wakeboarding ability and test out a demo board during your clinic session. Learn more
- Each Girls Day Out participant gets a prize pack containing great gear from all of our sponsors! Learn more
- During the day every girl has the option to session the Girls Day Out rail. Learn more
- New for 2007 we are offering Evening Freeride Sessions. This is an oppourtunity to sign up for some additional free ride time in the evening to perfect your riding. Learn more
August 12: ½ Day of Clinics and Girls Day Out Tournament!
- Consists of a ½ day of clinics running from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Clinic consists of 2, 20 minute sessions for each girl in the boat

- At 2 pm we will get our tournament underway
- Girls will be divided into three skill levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Learn more

*Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your clinic, session, and tournament start time to ensure we get everyone geared up,
assigned to a boat and out on the water!
