Demo EquipmentO’Brien has been at the center of the waterskiing and wakeboarding world for four decades and sponsor one of the best female wakeboarders in the world – Dallas Friday. We will have several models of O’Brien wakeboards and bindings available all weekend for you to demo during your clinic sessions. Not only will we provide you with killer equipment, an O’Brien representative will be on-site before each clinic session. He will explain the differences between the board styles, and how to choose, he will also hook you up with the right setup for your size and riding ability.MasterCraft Wakeboard BoatsOne of the greatest parts of the weekend is the ability to experience the wake of a wakeboard boat! You will be begging to get back out on the water after riding behind a MasterCraft X-Series wakeboard boat. The wake is full and crisp and perfect for any skill level, from beginner to advanced.Girls Day Out SliderSliders are a great way to take your wakeboarding to the next level. You don’t have to be a pro to hit a rail and, since rail sliding is one of the best parts of wakeboarding, we wanted to give all the ladies who come to Girls Day Out a chance to hit one! However, we know that the first time can be scary! With this in mind, we have built a rail that a beginner is capable of riding but will still provide a challenge for the more experienced wakeboarder.Girls will have the opportunity to slide the Girls Day Out slider before or after their clinic sessions, for FREE! Just let us know when you register that you are interested in hitting rails and we will make sure you get your chance! For those daring enough, you can even hit the rail during the competition for extra style points! Package PricingSince the Billabong Girls Day Out wakeboarding weekend is all about you, we want you to be able to custom-design your weekend schedule.This year we are offering alternative pricing options so that you optimize your time on the water and have tons of opportunities to improve your riding ability. If one ˝ day clinic session (with a full hour of riding time!) isn’t enough, sign up for another ˝ day clinic session on whichever day, at whatever time you want – and get a discount for doing so! As an added bonus, if you sign up for any clinic session you will get a discount on entry into the tournament. If this still isn’t enough, this year we are offering evening sessions. Sign up for one of our evening sessions and you will get another 30 minutes of riding time behind the MasterCrafts. We won’t have instructors during theses sessions, but it will give you the chance to practice before the tournament or master a trick you have learned during your clinic. Hang out before or after your clinic session, enjoy a variety of salads, fruit, veggies and snacks as well as something off the grill and make friends with the girls in your boat and other Girls Day Out participants.Pro Female InstructorsBillabong Girls Day Out is for girls, by girls – and this includes wakeboarding instruction. All of our instructors are talented Canadian female wakeboarders who are leading the way for girls like you! Female instructors understand the way girls ride and can use this knowledge to take your wakeboarding to the next level. Plus, they are just more fun than guys!Evening Freeride SessionsAnother new feature for 2007 is the addition of evening free ride wakeboarding sessions. These sessions are a great opportunity to get some more riding time behind the 2007 MasterCraft X Series Wakeboard boats. After the afternoon clinics end we will be offering 20 minute evening sessions to girls that have participated in a clinic that day. The evening offers the BEST riding conditions of the day, the water is like glass– there isn’t a better time to practice your new skills and tricks before you compete in the tournament or just have the chance to ride one more time behind one of the best wakeboarding boats on the market! Spots for these sessions are limited since we’ll be catching the last rays of sun, so sign up early! |
