How good of a snowboarder do I have to be to participate in Girls Day Out?
Girls Day Out is designed for girl snowboarders at all ability levels.
Freeride Ability Level: A ‘learn to snowboard’ rider is someone who has never been on a snowboard or has only had a few
experiences snowboarding. A beginner rider is someone who has snowboarder several times but is just getting used to snowboarding
and wants to improve the technical aspect of their riding. An intermediate rider is someone who has snowboarding consistently for
a few years and wants to learn to ride switch or hit some small jumps.
Park Riding Ability Level: A beginner park rider is someone who is comfortable on a snowboard and may have ridden in the terrain
park once or twice. An intermediate park rider is a girl who has experience riding in terrain parks and has hit rails or jumps consistently.
Is there transportation available to Mount St. Louis so that I can participate in Girls Day Out?
Greyhound runs daily buses starting December 1, 2007. Buses arrive at Mount St Louis Moonstone at 10:30 am. This means, that if you
are going to take a bus you will have to participate in an afternoon clinic session.

Yorkdale Go Terminal – 8:30 am (Yorkdale Mall, Toronto)
Barrie Bus Terminal – 9:45 am (24 Maple Ave, Barrie)

What is the Average Age of the Girls who Participate in Girls Day Out?
Girls of all ages have participated in previous Girls Day Out action sports events; ages range anywhere from 13 to over 30. Since we want our
participants to have the best snowboarding experience possible, we do our best to group girls of similar ages and ability levels together. The average
age of a Girls Day Out participant is about 23.
