About Girls Day Out Snowboarding

Girls Day Out is for girls by girls to create action sports and lifestyle events for females. Our vision is to create a progressive and positive environment for girls to develop their skills and confidence in a female-oriented setting, without the guys getting in the way!

Our first event , Girls Day Out Wakeboarding, was held in the summer of 2005 in Bala, Muskoka with the goal of creating the ultimate “girls only” wakeboarding event, consisting of wakeboarding clinics and a competitive format that allowed girls of all ages and ability to participate. Three years later, Girls Day Out has grown to attract over 80 participants and has become one of the largest single-weekend girl’s wakeboarding events in Canada. Girls Day Out wake will continue to evolve with the addition of new venues and events across Canada, beginning in 2008.

In 2008 we are excited to be hosting the first Girls Day Out snowboarding events held at Mount St Louis Moonstone. 2008 will welcome the first Girls Day Out freestyle and freeride snowboarding clinics and girls only slopestyle competition.

Whatever the medium, whether it be wake, snow, music or fashion, Girls Day Out is an outlet for girls to progress their skills, to meet other girls who share their interests, to ignite their passions and to show that they rock!
